What became clear almost immediately is that these guys know how to mow (fairway patterns and rough outlines) in order to create visual flow, adding more character to the holes at The Villages Golf & Country Club.

GMS has been with The Villages for only a few months. They have made improvements throughout the course in a very short time. Greens are better than I have seen in years, fairways are perfect, and rough was great. We had our big member-guest tournament last weekend and had nothing but compliments. Thanks GMS and their team.

Beyond their agronomic expertise which is second to none, GMS can always be counted on when a challenge pops up. I highly recommend them.
I have worked with GMS for over 12 years at three different private club properties and I can honestly say they are the best in the business. Dean Wochaski and Steve Schendel have the experience and knowledge of turfgrass and golf course requirements that makes GMS a valued and respected partner at all the club's I have managed. I have worked with Steve in Indiana, Louisville and now in Illinois and his expertise in the technical aspects of agronomy, coupled with sustainable and independent advice is second to none. I have worked with the GMS team for nearly twenty years. They are high character individuals, fantastic agronomists with a wealth of knowledge but more importantly, they develop positive relationships with ownership, management and club employees. Also, one key strength of the GMS team is their ability to improve product quality while simultaneously implementing efficiencies. They are great partners in our new reality of golf and clubs where quality is so critical but every dollar needs to be invested wisely. We have worked with Dave and Bill from GMS in the past on multiple occasions when we were transitioning Superintendents. They were able to lead the current maintenance staff and carry out the day to day operations. We continue to work with GMS from time to time regarding agronomic questions and advice. We have work with Dean and GMS for several year's at Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Florida. They have been instrumental in helping our agronomy team on property continue to progress and have the right plans in place. We are in the process of a greens conversion and they have been extremely helpful getting our ownership to pull the trigger on the project. The knowledge of the team a GMS gives us comfort in knowing we are moving in the right direction!

I would absolutely recommend the GMS team for any course maintenance needs. I have had the pleasure of knowing two of the partners for over 20 years, and I have also been able to work with the remaining team on multiple occasions. After being on the ownership side of the golf business for two decades, I've learned that I know nothing about agronomy compared to these guys. When things are bad, I use GMS to fix problems, and when things are good, I use them to make sure it stays that way. I really don't understand how every club in America doesn't use GMS or someone like them. They pay for themselves over and over.
