Renovation of 8 bunkers at Myakka Pines Complete

As Southwest Florida prepares for the start of a busy golf season, the 8 newly renovated bunkers are a great addition to the golf experience. GMS is proud to be a part of the progress at Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood, FL. Great people and great property. Thanks to our Superintendent AJ and all of our staff.

Musgrove CC bunker improvements

The past couple of days were spent with Darrin and the team at Musgrove CC in Jasper, AL. Thanks to Darrin and the entire golf course maintenance team. Installed close to 3,000 sf of new Capillary Bunker Liner in-house. A lot of work, but a lot of fun. Looking forward to a great 2025 at Musgrove for the members and their guests.

Myakka Pines turf improvement

The new irrigation system install is complete (Thank you Leibold Irrigation!). With better irrigation coverage we are continuing the turf improvements throughout the golf course. Great progress continues! Enjoyed being there to help AJ and the team with some bunker surround improvements. Great team and great effort. Thank you to Ryan (GM) for helping out.

Wrapping it up

It won’t be long now. Leibold Irrigation is wrapping up the new irrigation system install and should be completed in the next few weeks. Thank you to John Leibold, Steve, Jeff and the entire team for quality and efficient work. We really have enjoyed working with their team throughout the project.
